True Italian Pasta Week 2025: In Berlin the seventh edition of the event about authetic Italian pasta

A special menu for one week in over 40 of the best Italian Restaurants in Berlin

Lasagna with pumpkin, mild provolone, sage, and Lardo di Colonnata; paccheri with beef ossobuco and Parmesan; green spinach gnocchi on a buffalo ricotta cream with fried mushrooms; tagliatelle with red pesto made from sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan, and almonds; pasta with duck ragù and herbs... These are just a few of the exceptional dishes offered by over 40 Italian restaurants in Berlin during the True Italian Pasta Week 2025. This event, first launched in 2018 to celebrate Italy’s culinary icon, will once again take place in Berlin from October 23 to 29 this year.

For one week, visitors can enjoy a special offer at the participating restaurants: a delicious pasta dish (with two exclusive options available at each restaurant), a glass of wine (from the Sicilian Cantine Pellegrino winery), and a digestif (pistachio liqueur from Distilleria Marzadro) for just €18.

For restaurants, it is no easy feat to offer such competitive pricing considering the significant increases in food industry costs. Nonetheless, True Italian is committed to maintaining this special price in order to introduce as many people as possible to the authentic flavors of Italian cuisine.

The goal of the event is to invite food lovers in the city to embark on a true culinary journey, discovering new recipes and exploring new Italian restaurants. In the 2024 edition, over 5,000 menus were sold.

What types of pasta can be tasted during the event?

The event aims to celebrate pasta in all its forms: orecchiette, tagliatelle, caserecce, rigatoni, as well as gnocchi, ravioli, lasagna, and all accompanied by equally diverse and exceptional sauces and fillings. The regional touch will certainly not be missing! Many of the recipes pay tribute to the numerous culinary traditions of Italy: Apulian orecchiette, Roman amatriciana, Venetian-style braised cuttlefish ragù, Sicilian pasta alla Norma, and much more.

True Italian Pasta Week 2025: The Map

To immediately see where all the participating venues in the event are located, we have created a map based on the Berlin public transportation plan, which marks all the locations with their addresses and specialties. The map will soon be available both in printed form as a flyer at the participating restaurants and online via Google Maps.

Cook your Pasta at home with the Viani Pasta Box!

The True Italian Pasta Week also offers something special for those who prefer to stay at home and bake their own pizza: the Viani Pasta Box!
You can find it at the Viani Stores in Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg and Schöneberg).

The box contains all the ingredients needed to prepare two delicious pasta dishes at home: a pack of pasta, truffle sauce, and truffled stracciatella cheese. Additionally, there is a bottle of Prosecco and a pack of Tartufini (small truffles) for a sweet ending! The price remains unchanged: The box for two people costs just €36.

Win a dream trip to Italy!

As part of the Instagram competition for True Italian Pasta Week, there is a fantastic trip to Sardinia up for grabs, courtesy of WeRoad! The Italian company organizes group trips worldwide for 20- to 40-year-olds and is partnering with Pasta Week this year. The prize includes seven nights at a hotel with breakfast and a windsurfing lesson (flights to Italy are not included).

To participate, simply take a creative photo or video of a pasta from the True Italian Pasta Week and post it on your own Instagram profile by October 29, 2025. You have to tag @trueitalianpastaweek and @weroad_de and use the Hashtags #trueitalianpastaweek und #weroad.
