True Italian Pizza Street Festival 2025: A Weekend to Celebrate Pizza in All Its Forms

Some of Berlin's best pizzerias are coming together once again in a single location to celebrate pizza in all its many varieties: Neapolitan pizza and Roman pinsa, round pizza and pizza by the slice, fried pizza (panzerotti), plenty of vegan options, and even a fully gluten-free stand. On Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13, from 12 PM to 10 PM, the True Italian Pizza Street Festival returns for its fourth edition at Jules B-Part in Gleisdreieck Park. The event is organized by True Italian with the patronage of the Municipality of Naples. Last year, over 6,500 visitors took part.

In addition to the delicious pizzas to taste, there will be workshops to learn how to make pizza at home, pizza acrobatics shows, activities for children, and from 6 PM, a live DJ set by KISS FM radio. You will also find sweet treats like gelato, tiramisù, and cannoli, as well as Italian drinks like Martini and Limoncello Spritz.

Admission is €4 and free for children up to 16 years old. Tickets are also available in advance on Eventbrite to skip the line at the entrance and enjoy even more time at the festival!

The Heart of the Event: 10 of Berlin's Best Pizzerias in One Location

Enzo Bastelli x Nolano, NeaPizza 1889, Lovebirds Contemporary Pizza (also with a gluten-free stand), Monella, Sanpietrino, Selecta Modern Pizza, Spaccanapoli Nr. 12, Storia - Pizza al Taglio, and Mercurio Street Food & Catering: these are the stars of the weekend.

For pizza lovers, this will be the perfect opportunity to try different styles, doughs, and toppings, with many vegan options and, once again this year, a stand entirely dedicated to gluten-free pizza. There will be something for every taste, just like at pizza festivals in Naples. All pizzerias will offer Margherita and Marinara pizzas at fixed prices (€9 and €8 respectively). Each stand will also present two gourmet pizzas for max. 15 €, one of which will always be vegan, giving each pizzeria the freedom to showcase their creativity and unique flair!

Completing the offer will be delicious vegetarian bruschettas from Bruschetta Fraktion, stuffed pizza by Dolci e Salati, cannoli and tiramisù by Kuchen von Gaia and artisanal gelato by Peggy Bee.

Learn How to Make Pizza and Have Fun: Masterclasses, Shows, and Demonstrations

Once again this year, our visitors’ hunger for knowledge will be satisfied thanks to the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, which will host open demonstrations and hands-on workshops to reveal all the secrets of making great pizza. For the occasion, Salvatore Salviani, master pizzaiolo from the Scuola, and Mario Folliero, who is also an acrobatic pizza champion, will come directly from Italy.

The detailed masterclass schedule will be announced soon, and registration will be open until all spots are filled. The demonstrations, on the other hand, will be open to everyone and will end with free tastings for the visitors. There will also be exciting acrobatic pizza shows throughout the event.

Festival Organizers and Partners

The True Italian Pizza Street Food Festival is organized by Berlin Italian Communication as part of the True Italian project, under the patronage of the Municipality of Naples since its very first edition.

Also this year’s edition is supported by the flour brand Le 5 Stagioni, in collaboration with the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, which will run the pizza demos and workshops.

Le 5 Stagioni is the Agugiaro & Figna flour brand entirely dedicated to pizza. This unique and innovative range, offering over 20 high-quality flour products and blends, has become a key reference in the industry. Its versatility continues to inspire countless chefs and pizzaioli, from the most traditional to the most contemporary.

Event partners also include Nolano, producers of the San Marzano DOP tomatoes from the Agro Sarnese-Nocerino area; WeRoad, who will have their own stand at the Festival and will offer a €100 voucher to all visitors; Martini e Schweppes, who will set up a beautiful Martini Bar with both classic and alcohol-free Martini drinks; Viani, who will host a stand offering free pizza tastings; Benvenuti Limoncello and Amaro Montenegro, who will complete the Italian drinks selection with themed cocktails.

Not only pizza: entertainment by KISS FM and kids area

The Berlin-based radio station KISS FM is the media partner of the event and will bring the vibe to the festival with a DJ set on both days starting at 6 PM. On Sunday, Gianluca Meli, the Italo-German KISS FM host, will also be there, delivering the perfect live entertainment with his charm and energy.

But that’s not all: there will be a special kids’ area with several games for kids.

Save the Date: Upcoming True Italian Summer Events

But the True Italian summer of events is not over yet! Coming up next is the Pistacchio Street Food Festival, our most international event, where the “green gold” takes center stage and is featured in both sweet and savory recipes from different culinary traditions around the world. The event will take place on the weekend of August 23-24 at Jules B-Part in Gleisdreieck Park.

But that’s not all: on Saturday, September 6, from aperitivo time until the early morning, we will celebrate 10 Years of True Italian (and 15 years of Berlino Magazine) with a big party at Urban Spree, a beautiful venue with an indoor hall and a large garden. For the occasion, the Borghetta Stile DJ collective will come directly from Rome to keep the party going all night long.
