True Italian Pizza Week: The Biggest Pizza Event Returns to Berlin from September 25th to October 1st, 2025
Around 40 of Berlin's best pizzerias are joining forces for a special offer: a gourmet pizza and a spritz for €16.
Whether with sausage, potato croquettes, and provolone, combined with gorgonzola, parmesan, pear, honey, walnuts, and pistachios, with mortadella and burrata, or with zucchini-mint cream, fiordilatte, crispy zucchini chips, and ricotta – the True Italian Pizza Week 2025 will present a variety of exceptional creations from September 25th to October 1st in over 40 Berlin pizzerias. Each special pizza will be served with an Aperol Spritz or a non-alcoholic Crodino Spritz for just €16.
Included are both real institutions such as Malafemmena, Prometeo, Ammazza che Pizza, Papà Pane di Sorrento, and new, exciting places like Serio Pizza and Saint Gennaro 081. You can find the full list here.
In 2024, around 6,000 menus were sold – a success that demonstrated the great demand for authentic Italian pizza!
How the Event Works
From September 25th to October 1st, 2025, you can order the Pizza Week menu at participating pizzerias: a pizza (two variants to choose from) plus an Aperol Spritz or a non-alcoholic Crodino Spritz for only €16. No registration or ticket purchase is required – just walk into one of the venues and order the menu.
To easily find the participating pizzerias and their special pizzas, we have prepared a map designed like Berlin’s public transportation network – available as a flyer in all participating restaurants and online. Additionally, there is a Google Map.
A Week of Enjoyment Without Compromise – at a Fair Price
In all of Germany, eating out at restaurants has become significantly more expensive. The costs for restaurateurs are rising as well: raw materials, energy, and staff are increasingly burdening the industry. The crisis affects all types of restaurants. In some fast food joints, a Döner now costs 8€, while several Michelin-starred restaurants in Berlin have had to close their doors. Even high-quality pizzerias are suffering from the rising prices. Olive oil, flour, mozzarella, and tomatoes – the basic ingredients of pizza – travel long supply chains, and the prices have increased even further due to numerous intermediaries.
To show that authentic quality pizza with healthy, genuine ingredients is still worth a visit to the restaurant, around 40 of the best pizzerias in Berlin are coming together for True Italian Pizza Week 2025. Given that a simple Margherita already costs 12€ and a Spritz 8€, the 16€ offer for pizza and Aperol Spritz this year is as fair as it has ever been.
Win a Dream Trip to the Birthplace of Pizza!
As part of the Instagram contest for True Italian Pizza Week, there is a fantastic trip to Naples and the Amalfi Coast to be won, courtesy of WeRoad! The Italian company organizes group trips for 20- to 40-year-olds around the world and is partnering with the Pizza Week this year. The prize includes four nights in a hotel with breakfast, a culinary city tour with a local guide, and an excursion to Pompeii, Sorrento, and the Path of the Gods (flights to Italy are not included).
