    "body": "<p><strong>Berlin, October 2026</strong> &ndash; Germany loves pizza. So much so that, according to a recent YouGov survey, only <strong>5% of German adults say they do not eat it</strong>, while 66% prefer a thin crust.</p><p>From <strong>15 to 25 October 2026</strong>, this passion will take on a distinctly Italian flavour: <a href=\"https://true-italian.com/true-italian-pizza-week/\"><strong>True Italian Pizza Week</strong></a> celebrates its <strong>tenth edition</strong> and, for the first time in its new format, will take place simultaneously in <strong>Berlin, Munich and Hamburg</strong>.</p><p>Almost <strong>90 pizzerias have already signed up</strong>: currently 45 in Berlin, 22 in Munich and 22 in Hamburg, with further registrations still possible.</p><p>The concept will be the same in all three cities: each pizzeria will create <strong>two signature pizzas especially for the event</strong>. With almost 90 pizzerias involved, visitors will therefore be able to choose from <strong>nearly 180 pizzas created especially for the occasion</strong> over the eleven days of the event.</p><p>There is no recipe imposed by the organisers: each pizzaiolo is free to interpret their own idea of pizza through different doughs, ingredients and techniques.</p><p>Among the creations featured in the 2026 edition, numerous pizzerias will also use <strong>Bimi&reg; broccoli</strong>, a partner of the event, incorporating it into their recipes in a variety of ways.</p><p>Another event partner is <strong>Le 5 Stagioni</strong>, which will provide its professional flours to many of the participating pizzerias.</p><h4 id=\"from-berlin-to-munich-and-hamburg\" >From Berlin to Munich and Hamburg</h4><p>In <strong>Berlin</strong>, where Pizza Week was born, 45 pizzerias are currently taking part, including <strong>Malafemmena, Prometeo, Lovebirds, Spaccanapoli Nr. 12 and Capvin</strong>.</p><p>In <strong>Munich</strong>, 22 venues have already joined the event, including <strong>BONO, Capri Restaurant, Punto Gola and Grazia Pizza Napoletana</strong>. In 2025, in Berlin alone, <strong>41 pizzerias sold more than 6,000 Pizza Week menus</strong>.
